Johnny Nguyen has worked in the exercise industry for nearly 25 years. He has a bachelor of science in Sports Medicine and Wellness, with an emphasis on athletic training. He has designed and implemented a Phase III cardiac rehabilitation program at Averett University, created and managed an exercise rehab department in a multi-disciplinary medical center, published exercise and wellness articles, and has managed teams of professional trainers.
In his years of experience, he has trained professional and international athletes, collegiate athletes, junior athletes, and the gerontology population — as well as everyone in between. He has been certified through various organizations, learned numerous exercise methods, and continues to devour exercise theories and its real-world applications.
His area of passion lies in the effect of exercise on metabolic, hormonal, and cognitive health, as well as its relationship on functional capacity and retention in all phases of aging (from young to advanced). In an industry riffled with misinformation, trend, and ineffective methods, Johnny puts efficiency, sustainability, and rational application back into exercise.
